Our most popular portraits are those taken using high-key lighting against a white backdrop. These are a real eye-catching favourite and very fashionable at the moment. Capturing a genuine sense of spontaneity and joy, your pictures will bring out the fun side, both in you, and your family. See our promotions page for special offers throughout the year!

Your portrait session:

Your portrait session will normally last about I hour for a single portrait and we recommend that family and group portraits allow 2 hours. During this time we’ll work through a number of different sittings and capture a variety of different images.

Younger children quite often like to be photographed with a favourite soft toy, whilst older children are keen to be seen with their scooters and skateboards.We have plenty of fun props that you can try out and you are welcome to bring your own. You may have a special or fun idea that you want to incorporate in the session, which is absolutely fine. It is your day and we want you to get the most out of your experience and we are always on hand to discuss any ideas or queries you may have.

There is no fixed limit to the number of pictures taken during the session. Don’t worry if the session runs over, there is no extra charge or time limit! . We only run 2-3 sessions per day at the studio to ensure maximum time flexibility. This ensures you are never rushed.

After the session is finished and you have left the studio, we then use our digital expertise to create a selection of exciting and flattering pictures portraying you and your loved ones. Whether vibrant in striking colours or intimate in black and white, we aim to present you with a choice of stunning proofs from which to choose your favourite prints and enlargements.

Viewing session:

After your portrait session we’ll arrange a viewing appointment where you will be able to return and select your favourite images from the session. You may choose just one or as many images as you would like, it's entirely up to you. There is absolutely no hard sell, we really enjoy the excitement of watching you choose and we can be on hand to help you when it comes to shortlisting your favorites and advise on printing, framing, enlargements and canvas options if you so wish. Please allow at least half an hour for a viewing session.

Facilities:

We now only too well with our own young children that a dash to the loo or a nappy change may be required at any time and we have installed baby changing facilities for your convienience and comfort. There are also full changing facilities at our studio to allow you to change outfits during the course of your portrait session.

Whether they become cherished in your own home or given as the perfect gift, when enlarged and professionally printed on stretched canvas frames or wooden block mounts, your stunning images become a real focal point in any room and are guaranteed to turn heads!
